Dr. Steven A. Gabriel was a keynote speaker at the 9th Annual Conference on Applied Infrastructure Research (Infraday) held at the Technische Universität in Berlin, Germany, October 8-9, 2010.

This year's theme was "Sustainable Infrastructure ? Theoretical and Policy Challenges? and Dr. Gabriel's keynote talk was on the interaction between natural gas and intermittent renewable energy for power production such as wind.

This conference brings together engineers, economists, mathematical modelers, and policy researchers to discuss modeling and policy issues in areas such as: energy, sustainable
