President-elect Barack Obama wasn?t the only one getting media coverage during the Presidential Inauguration on Tuesday. The Center for Advanced Transportation Technology Laboratory (CATT Lab) at the University of Maryland, College Park was highlighted by several news outlets for its three-dimensional, real-time traffic monitoring (virtual helicopter) software. This software was utilized during the numerous inaugural events around the D.C. Metropolitan region.
