With two major snowstorms passing the area, mounting piles of snow means more salt, brine and plows assaulting our roadways. Dr. Chung C. Fu, the Director of the Bridge Engineering Software and Technology (BEST) Center (with Jeff Rog, V.P. of Corrpro), was interviewed by Kojo Nnamdi, the host of The Kojo Nnamdi Show, for an hour on a live talk show produced by WAMU 88.5 FM. Kojo looks at corrosion on our bridges and roads, and what technology is fighting the decline. The subject is about corrosion and roadway Infrastructure and it was live broadcasted with many calls-in on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010 at 12:00-1:00 p.m. in a Technology Tuesday program right when snowstorm blanked the area.
