The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering?s Dr. Gerry Galloway has been invited to lecture at a symposium on floods at the University of Iowa. The topic of the symposium is "Living With Floods: From Science to Policy," and it focuses specifically on the summer 2008 floods. The event will last from March 10-12, 2009 with Dr. Galloway presenting his lecture, titled ?When Will We Ever Learn? The Challenge Of Dealing With Frequent Flooding,? on Tuesday, March 10, 2009.
