The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company has made a gift of $25,000 to support this month's civil and environmental engineering centennial celebration (April 4-5).

"We are very pleased to receive this gift from Whiting-Turner in support of our Centennial activities," said Prof. Ali Haghani, chair of the civil engineering department. "This gift helped us tremendously in putting together a Centennial program that was worthy of our rich history during the past 100 years. We are most grateful to Whiting-Turner for their generosity."

Whiting-Turner is a Corporate Partner of the Clark School and also already supports the Whiting-Turner Business & Entrepreneurial Lecture Series.

For more information about the centennial event, please visit the department's web site.
