As Cnief Diversity & Inclusion Officer at Bechtel Corporaton, Kevin Edwards is responsible for developing Bechtel’s vision, strategic Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) roadmap, and enterprise plan to implement key program actions to support progress in in their DE&I efforts. This often includes programs to advance diverse talent within leadership roles; talent acquisition process updates to drive intentional and deliberate actions to improve opportunities for existing and new early career diverse talent; and cultivating work or learning environments that encourage and support diversity and inclusive.
SEMINAR ABSTRACT: Bechtel is approaching its diversity and inclusion strategy with a new sense of urgency—not as an initiative, but for long-term sustainability. With the endorsement of executive leadership, the company is managing its diversity and inclusion work with the same focus on results that they bring to engineering and construction projects. Bechtel’s diversity and inclusion strategy is focused on talent, culture, and accountability, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that every colleague feels valued, respected, welcomed, and treated fairly. During this seminar, Kevin Edwards, Bechtel’s Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, will share how the company has developed and implemented its diversity and inclusion action plan to support Bechtel’s employees around the globe.
